INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PHARMACOMETRICS AND INTEGRATED BIOSCIENCES

International Journal of Pharmacometrics and Integrated Biosciences (IJPIB) is peer reviewed, bimonthly open access journal. IJPIB publishes research, review, short communications, case studies and reports in Pharmaceutical sciences and Integrated Biosciences. Authors should submit their articles through online submission system or to editor@ijpib.com. Authors should follow the instructions given below; doing so will ensure that the publication of your manuscript is as rapid and efficient as possible. Editor has the right to return manuscripts that are not prepared according to author instructions. Authors will receive corrections/decisions in 15 days on average and if IJPIB determines the work as inappropriate, authors will receive decisions within 5 days on average.

Submission of Manuscripts

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent the original work and authors should guarantee that, the work was not published elsewhere in the copyright form. Figures and tables that are published previously should be included only after copyright holder’s permission, which should be taken prior to submission. Ethical permissions are mandatory if applicable.

Typography

  1. Use single line spacing
  2. Use Times New Roman with font size 12
  3. Keep the text unjustified
  4. Capitalize only the first word of the title and proper nouns
  5. Do not keep any text in header or footer
  6. Abbreviations should be used only after prior definition
  7. Please use the symbols of MS WORD or if the symbol used is new, please send the symbols separately in JPEG/PNG/PDF

After the acceptance of article, author should pay the processing fee prescribed in payment details. Indian/Foreign authors should send the payment receipt and copyright form to editor@ijpib.com. Once the above process completes editor will send galley proof and correction format to the corresponding author mail id for further corrections. Authors should send the corrections in correction format to editor@ijpib.com within 5 days and if author fails to submit/if no corrections, article will be automatically posted to www.ijpib.com  and corresponding author mail id.

 

SUBMISSION OF RESEARCH ARTICLE

Research should describe the description of research and significance of results. Research articles submitted to IJPIB should contain following sections

Title page, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References, Illustrations and Figures, Tables.

Title page should provide title of the article, with names of the authors with institutional/industrial/association address indicating corresponding author with asterisk. Author should avoid abbreviations in title

Abstract should not exceed 300 words giving the brief information on objective, methods used results and conclusion.

Keywords should be a maximum of 8 words with 3 words minimum.

Materials and methods section should specify the materials used and details of purchase/details of manufacturer. This area should explain the design of study. For studies involving animal/human participants, ethical approval should be included in this section.

Results and discussion should combine into a single section or broken into sections with specific headings. Statistical analysis of data should include if necessary to decrease the error.

Conclusion should clearly explain the importance of the work envisaged.

Acknowledge (not mandatory) anyone who gave the support or guidance or inspiring suggestions for successful completion of your work.

References should be kept in square brackets within the test and number consecutively. Each reference must have individual reference number and avoid excessive referencing.

Review articles submitted to IJPIB should contain following sections

Title page, Keywords, Introduction, Body of article, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References, Illustrations and Figures, Tables.

Title page should provide title of the article, with names of the authors with institutional/industrial/association address indicating corresponding author with asterisk. Author should avoid abbreviations in title.

Abstract should not exceed 300 words giving the brief information that highlights recent developments in specific area.

Keywords should be a maximum of 8 words with 3 words minimum.

Body of the article may be broken into subsections with informative headings.

Conclusion should clearly explain the importance of the review envisaged.

Acknowledge (not mandatory) anyone who gave the support or guidance or inspiring suggestions for successful completion of your work.

References should be kept in square brackets within the test and number consecutively. Each reference must have individual reference number and avoid excessive referencing.

Short communication represents the work that extends previously published research, small scale in- vitro/in-vivo studies and reports etc. Authors must clearly explain the work upon which they are building, which may be published or not.

Short communications submitted to IJPIB should contain following sections

Title page, Keywords, Introduction, Findings, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References, Illustrations and Figures, Tables.

Findings includebrief statement of research contention, methods used and results. Instead this section can be broken into informative headings.
